Robert Radcliffe-Smith

Executive Director

Robert has significant experience in both private equity and corporate
finance. He joined Advent in 2002 and in the five years prior to that
worked with National Australia Investment Capital, where he reached
the position of Investment Director. Robert has successfully led all
aspects of the investment cycle including origination, due diligence,
structuring, investment management and divestment. At Advent, he
has been a director of businesses under-going MBOs, MBIs, expansion
and generational change. Robert is a member of the FICC Venture
Capital Working Group which advises the Victorian Government on
venture capital issues.

Prior to joining National, Robert was with KPMG for a total of eight
years and worked in corporate services, corporate recovery and
corporate finance. Robert was involved in numerous M&A, valuation
and due diligence assignments for SMEs and larger clients. Robert
holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Deakin University. He is
an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, an Associate
of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Fellow of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors.
