Symon Vegter

Associate Director

Symon joined Advent Private Capital in 2007. Since that time he has been involved in all aspects of investments, including origination, execution, management and realisation. He was part of the team that invested in UGM, Integrated Packaging Group, Trivantage Group and Genesis Care. He is currently an alternate director of ISIS Group and Integrated Packaging Group. He was previously an alternate director of Securepay Holdings.

Prior to joining Advent, Symon worked in the mergers and acquisitions and restructuring services areas of KPMG. In these roles he advised both corporate and private equity clients on a range of assignments and transactions across a broad range of industry sectors.

Symon holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
